We offer several TRAINING programs!

ICNDF offers a number of obedience training programs; all breeds - large or small!

$1,000     Puppy obedience training via private lessons at our facility

$1,000     Basic on-leash obedience training [three week stay with us]

$1,800    Advanced off-leash [includes basic on-leash obedience]

ICNDF recommends starting training as soon as you get your dog or puppy. We start our German Shepherd puppies at 6 weeks of age. We emphasize good behaviors such as walking on a leash without pulling- or sitting in front of you as opposed to jumping.

All ICNDF puppy, adult dog sales, or training programs include collars and leashes along with lifetime group class participation and private or in-home lessons as needed.

Our training programs address, to name a few:

Behavior assessment

Socialization

Housebreaking

Chewing

Digging

Problem solving

Jumping

Bolting and/or running away

Chasing or aggression toward other pets/animals

With coaching to you as a new handler; your TOP DOG will learn to:

heel     [walk calmly at your side and sit next to you when you stop]

sit       [sit on command - or whenever you stop walking]

down [a step up from sit; your dog may simply 'down' when you stop]

stay     [your dog will know to remain where it is when the command is given]

come [whether to your front or side, your dog will come to you when called]

Verbal commands are just one way of communication with your dog. We also teach hand signals you will soon become familiar with.

When training is headed in the right direction, you can join our group classes whenever you wish at no additional charge as part of our lifetime training maintenance for you and your dog. Whether it is a social time for you and your dog or you need the facility for a re-focus time or tune-up now and then.
