St. Lucie Inlet State Park is only accessible by kayak and offers plenty of aquatic birds -- brown pelicans, anhingas, double-crested cormorants and more. After a short hike, we'll take time out on the island to swim on the beach and have lunch. Mangrove canopies lead the way on the trail back.

Also, in Palm Beach county is Munyon Island tour from John D. MacArthur state park. Guide must check the tides.
