*** Special Announcement ***

Today we received a letter from the Greater Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival which states in part, "It is with great sadness that we write this letter, [but due to financial reasons] we are unable to open the Festival this year, nor will it be operated by us in the future. The Festival is for sale . . ." We have been both a vendor and entertainer at this, our home Renaissance Festival, since it opened 13 years ago. This marks the 2nd long-term Renaissance Festival to close its doors this year, following the closing of Cleveland area's Baycrafter's Renaissance Craft Faire only 2 months ago after 26 years.

Both events will be greatly missed.

Dragon Scales will also be performing next weekend at Medieval Majesty's Renaissance Faire in Williamsport, PA, as well as at the last weekend of The Greater St. Louis Renaissance Festival.

There's special shout out to Chakoty from the Baby Dragon: Chakoty came to Shakespear and Friends this past weekend with her parents to see the Baby Dragon, whom she had seen earlier this year. She got to meet the Snow Queen instead! Chakoty then intrusted her with a bundle to give to the Baby Dragon, which was full of chocolate! Chakoty knows how much the Baby Dragon loves his chocolate! The Baby Dragon wanted Chakoty to know that it was delivered to him by the Snow Queen as soon as she returned from the festival. Thank you Chakoty for all of the chocolate!! You did a great job wrapping it in that beautiful fabric too!!
