Welcome to Highlands Cottage. This beautifully decorated one bedroom, one bath Ellijay Georgia pet friendly cabin, with a large fenced yard, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is so comfortable summer or winter, you may never want to leave. Highlands is situated on the edge of a lovely mountain and is perfect getaway for relaxing. Sunny days lay in the king size hammock under the canopy of huge trees, or rest on the porch in the swing or rocking chairs, overlooking the lush valley and surrounding mountains. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for grouse, wild turkey, or deer. After dinner, maybe a game of air hockey, chess or checkers, or just soak in the secluded hot tub, under a gazebo lit by moonlight and stars, no need for bathing suits here!

In the fall, cuddle in front of the gas log fireplace. Munch a freshly picked apple from one of the apple trees on the property. Ah life is sweet at the Highlands.

Highlands Cottage is a beautifully decorated single level Georgia pet friendly cabin that sleeps up to two (2) adults and offers the following:

  King size bed bedroom with luxurious 310 count sheets, large flat screen TV with Network Channels, DVD Player, and full bath

Living area with plush leather seating, large flat screen TV with network channels, DVD player, Wood Burning Fireplace, & telephone

  Free wireless hi-speed Internet Access and Free Long Distance

  Game room with air hockey, board games, books, TV with Network Channels

Central heat and air, washer & dryer

  All rooms have vaulted ceilings and are located on a single level

Spa quality bath essentials such as soaps, hand lotions, lip balm, hair dryer, thick towels, and bath robes

Spacious screened porch with rocking chairs and swing

Gated deck with gas grill and dining area

Large fenced yard, safe for the doggies

Hot tub under the cover of a gazebo with an attached deck, seating and outdoor wood burning fireplace and nearby hammock

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

Refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, dishes, glassware, pots, pans, cutlery, & utensils

Also included are fresh coffee beans, coffee grinder, & coffee maker

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Nightly rates are $125 per night plus tax for up to two (2) guests
Weekly rates are $750 plus tax for up to two (2) guests
Cleaning fee $55, plus tax
Two night minimum stay on non-holidays
Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 04th of July, Labor Day, Month of October, and Christmas (sorry no check-in on Christmas Day)
Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving (sorry no check-in Thanksgiving Day)

Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!

Because Sliding Rock Cabins® is truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food and water bowls, toys, all natural treats, and beach towels.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $30 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
